Mobile Reply provides the ability to let a meeting presenter pose a number of questions to the audience, then let the audience respond to the questions by texting their answers, using their cellular phones. The accumulated results are reported and projected to the audience in real time.
The benefits of audience response in business meetings, conferences, training and education have been long recognized. However, the high cost of buying or renting keypads is limiting the potential use of audience response. The fact is that 100% of the business meeting and conference audience members already equipped with the most sophisticated keypad – their own personal Cellular phone.
Mobile Reply is a web based software platform facilitating audience voting in a simple and cost saving manner. In addition, it can be operated after the voting session for sending SMS messages and additional questions to the audience members, thus providing a highly effective means for continuous communication between the meeting organizers / speaker, with their meeting participant's.
How does it work?
Before the audience-response event:
- Speaker prepares the questionnaire – one up to eight closed end (single choice) questions.
During live performance:
- Speaker projects to the audience a PPT slide, showing the questions and instructions for text answers.
- Audience members send one SMS message to a specified number, containing answers to all the questions.
- Speaker log in to his Mobile Feedback User Account, displaying the project answers report (pie chart).
After the audience response event:
- Speaker log in to his Mobile Feedback User Account, were the list of all participating audience members is stored.
- Conditioned on the audience member's agreement, speaker can input and send any SMS message or question directed to the audience.
- • All records – cell phone numbers, questions and answers are stored in User account for continuous use and analysis.
